Tools you need to make your home office desk more productive

So now you have a great home office desk, huh? Terrific! OK, time to get the tools. What do i mean when I say home office tools?

I mean, beside the desk, the stuff you are going to need in order to make your home office efficient and more productive. Keep reading and discover now what makes the difference between a nice home office and a first class home office.

Simply put, what does an efficient home office need to have?

• A good chair. Seriously, folks. Never, ever underestimate the importance of a good home office chair.
  
  For a perfect fit, look for an ergonomically designed office chair with an adjustable seat, armrest and back, as well as tilt tension. A traditional-style chair should have a seat height between 16 inches and 20 inches.

• Filing cabinet, bookcase or/and shelving. You need to be able to find stuff right away. Once again the keyword here is plan ahead.

• Office Supplies Take a walk at the closest Office Max, and get yourself some necessary home office supplies:
  • Calendar/Daily Planner
  • Accordion File (1-31)
  • Manila Files with the Months of the Year (Or you can make them up yourself - a lot less expensive)
  • Hanging Files
  • Manila Files
  • Boxes and Envelopes (9 x 12)

Read this before you leave this page! Try to set up your home office so when you sit you face the doorway or room entrance. This will not always be possible if you have a corner desk.

Sitting with your back to the door means "negative energy". Believe it or not, I found this to be true. If you can't move your desk to face the room entrance, I suggest putting up a mirror so that you can see behind you.
